Arsenal Women FC WSL Academy (U21’s) aims at supporting talented female footballers within an elite player pathway to make the step from U16s Regional Talent Club Academy football into their Arsenal Women’s First team.

The WSL Academy ensures that all players are able to develop their football as well as continuing with their education to ensure that players have a dual career pathway. The programme prepares female players for the next step in their football journey, providing them with the opportunity to fulfil their football potential while ensuring they also commit to an education or work-related training programme.

The 22/23 season has seen many successes both on and off the pitch. Their U16’s squad have won the southern division in an ‘invincible season’ as well as reaching the FA Youth Cup, these successes have seen several players join the U21’s squad in their county cup journey. The U21’s squad have recently won the FA WSL Academy Southern Division themselves plus seen several players progress into the first team training environment and matchday squads.
