The team introduces itself
The U19 of Grasshopper Club Zürich Frauenfussball is the second team of the club and has the task of serving as a springboard for young athletes into the highest league in Switzerland. In recent years, they have often proven this by integrating some players into the first team and even all of them being in the national selection. With a squad of 21 players with an average age of 17, it is a young team with a lot of potential for the future. Since the summer of 2022, the U19 has been coached by the coaching duo of Yusuf Arslan and Ivan Martirano, who will work together to bring out the best in the team.
The young team is excited to participate in the Blue Stars/FIFA Youth Cup™ and also wants to make a positive impression here.
